A BIT ABOUT ME

I attended the University of Birmingham, graduating with 2:1 honours in Biological Sciences, followed by a Post Graduate Certificate in Secondary Education. With over 10 years of experience teaching science in the West Midlands, I have extensive knowledge of the GCSE Science and A-level Biology syllabus. I pride myself on my innovative methods of teaching difficult concepts to help my students understand and enjoy learning science!

I have experience working in the classroom but also in small groups and tutoring individuals, tailoring my teaching methods and planning to the students that I have in front of me.

I am also a Mum of 2 primary school aged children, (and also a 1 yr old), and enjoy doing exciting practical science experiments with them. When working with groups of primary school children I can engage and 'electrify' them, and I am excited to offer science clubs introducing Yr 2- 6 pupils to awe inspiring experiments that will expand their learning, and enthuse them about science.

I offer personalised tutoring services at affordable prices for individuals or small groups. I use my specialised lessons to tackle areas of difficulty, helping them to reach higher levels of understanding in a kind, encouraging environment.
